What Information We Collect
When you use our service, we take your privacy seriously. That's why we want to be transparent about what we collect and store when you use our email service.
We collect and store the emails you receive, which includes the contents of those emails and any attachments. We also collect metadata such as the sender and recipient email addresses, the date and time the email was sent and received, and any subject lines or message IDs associated with the email.
We understand that your email is personal and private, and we take every measure to ensure that your information is protected.
We use industry-standard security measures to safeguard your data, and we never share your information with third parties without your consent. Currently the only third party that does receive this information, with your consent, is OpenAI via the GPT-3.5 API. By using this API, your data is not used for training models (unlike when ChatGPT is used as the interface to OpenAI), however it is processed by OpenAI's servers. You can turn this feature off in your preferences, which blocks any email in your account being processed by OpenAI.
With the setting turned on, only those emails appearing in the 'Just Arrived' view are processed. After the 12 hour window has passed, emails are not retroactively processed by OpenAI.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email information to provide the service you requested. This includes receiving and storing emails, and allowing you to access those emails through our platform. We do not use your information for any other purpose.
How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your personal information seriously. We use industry-leading security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We also regularly monitor our systems for any potential vulnerabilities and take appropriate action to address them. Any major data leak that is discovered will be publicly disclosed and any affected users will be notified.
Sharing Your Information
We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except as required by law. We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, or prevent fraud or other illegal activity. All data is currently stored in Singapore-based data-centers and is encrypted.
